Common Human Foods Toxic to Dogs:
Many human foods can cause problems for dogspets. Examples include: Chocolate, onions, grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, chewing gum or any food with Xylitol (artificial sweetener), alcohol, and even coffee and tea. (The harmful toxin in onions and garlic builds up in the system, so many small amounts could build to toxic levels.)

For more detailed information, go to ASPCA's Animal Poison Control Center website. That site provides information about toxic people food, toxic and non-toxic plants, and other helpful information.
